Pubg earning $2 million per day



PUBG Mobile's premium Royale Pass has proved a revenue-generating success in the last month. Since it was implemented, the game's overall revenue has tripled and average daily spend is up by a similar amount.

Sensor Tower estimates indicate that PUBG Mobile's total revenue is up to $30 million, $22 million of which was generated post-Royale Pass. Average amount spent per day is also way up, at about $650,000. That's nearly triple what players spent prior to June 19 (about $220,000 per day), when the Royale Pass launched.

Player unknown battle ground.PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has amassed more than 400 million players across all currently available platforms, developer PUBG Corp. announced today. That figure includes more than 50 million copies of the game sold on Windows PC and Xbox One, the company said.

That means that somewhere around 350 million of those total players are playing the game on mobile devices. PUBG is available on Android and iOS as a free-to-download game.

According to announcement from PUBG Corp., PlayerUnknown’s Battlegroundsdraws more than 87 million players each day across all platforms and 227 million players per month.

In March, PUBG creator Brendan Greene said at the Game Developers Conference that his battle royale game had sold 40 million copies in its first year.

In an effort to sell even more, the game’s publisher is discounting the game on Steam for a limited time. PUBG for PC on Steam is on sale for $19.99 (33 percent off its regular price). This Friday, June 22, PUBG Corp. will release a new map for the game named Sanhok.

The latest PUBG Mobile release is 212 MB in size and updates the game to version 0.11.5. It brings in a slew of improvements to the gameplay in addition to a new weapon, vehicle and Royal Pass subscription packs. Erangel and Miramar maps have been updated to support dynamic weather as well.

With the new Season 6, features of the Royal Pass have been enhanced to include two subscription plans- Prime and Prime Plus. Players will be able to buy either of the plans starting from early April. The subscription plans will offer 80% discounts on crates along with free UC, Royal Pass points among other benefits.
